Ours was maxed out at four, then my parents got three more.. ughh... Quail sounds fun. I'd like to have some quail. Parents wouldn't allow it, though.

Yeah, it sucks. Still got so many breeds on my bucket list, like silkies, polish, houdans, sultans, EEs, OEs, Sussex, Dominiques, Marans..... and this is just the tipity top. I could go on all night.

I could also go on all night long. I keep having dreams of hatching eggs, too. (thanks BYC....). We're already one over the legal limit though, lol. I hope my life allows me to have my own chickens sooner rather than later.

Me too, I am positive I will be a hatching addict.

I’m hoping my life allows for peafowl. Many other things too, like ducks, Guineafowl, turkeys, emus, etc... but peafowl are at the top of the list.

It’s robbery what they charge for all that stuff.

Oh the prices are probably fair, I just don't think any of it is necessary. When I'm done with my body I see no reason to dress it up, parade it around, preach over it, lie about it, cry over it, preserve it, sing over it or sanctify it in any way. Put it to good use and do like the Book says, dust to dust, ashes to ashes. I've always tried to be practical about things.
