Hiya Granny. How's it going?

I got all the animal chores done. Have to take the car in to fix the electronic parking brake that froze up on us. The fancier these cars get, the less I like them. More to go wrong that you can't fix yourself. Not wanting to give up the AC and power locks though. Especially the AC. I was in my 40s before I had a car with air conditioning. Going for a drive is the only way to cool off in the summer!

Have to leave in about an hour. #2 is following me in and then we'll do some errands until it's done. Relaxing with my lunch for a bit. Beautiful day. Little cloudy, not quite 70. Perfect.

Lucky you on the tomatoes. Overnights have been in the low 40s, so nothing in the garden is doing much except the sugar snap peas.

Mmm do you eat them raw ? I love those . 40s here at night too.

Mostly raw, but they're good in stir-fry too... little bit cooked but still crunchy.

Yes you did. We have terrible luck with lettuce. It's bitter most of the time or it gets hot and bolts overnight. Takes a lot of water too, but hubs never quits trying. I see he's got a few started out there now. Haha! Hope he won't be as disappointed as he was with the beets (never grew) and the radishes, which were so hot even he couldn't eat them.
