Granny's gone and done it again

OK, maybe I dont want to make any Wow, that dont seem worth it for me. Wonder how many trees they had to tap for that amount.
I hate cooking. We exist on ready made dinners for the most part.
I wouldn't go to all that trouble for me, either! Store bought isn't that expensive anyway! They tapped about 20 trees for a week or so--granddaughter helped. They like projects like that

Yes, I plan to sit on my duff all day ! LOL I also am in chronic pain. I take pills 3xs a day to try and control it.
I need to shop too but not today. Monday Im hoping for.
High blood pressure, high cholesterol and all the stuff from my stroke 🙄. I haven't drove since last May. I think the mice have inherited my jeep 😭.

I'm sorry you have so much pain :hugs :hugs

yes I do, but it's nice to have daughter who also likes to cook. I prefer baking, and she likes cooking main course. Tonite she's dinner,
I'm dessert,
maple syrup is a lot of work for a little outcome. Son and son-in-law tapped trees, gathered and boiled down buckets of sap. They brought me 2 gallons of that to reduce and get thicker. Out of 2 gal I have 3 quarts of pancake syrup! just nice to say it's homemade, and free
DH has always wanted to do the syrup thing, but we don't have the right trees here.

sugar maples are so pretty in the fall. I have one planted close to my front porch for shade. Tons of maples in the woods but I dont know what kind those are. Wild type?
I can't tell the difference between maple trees except the red maple has red leaves
