Granny's gone and done it again

So I tried to help Robert by carrying the limbs to the back today and he went ahead of me thank goodness because my pants fell down. Full moon shinning. A white car was going by but I didnt think it seen me til I was sitting on the porch telling Tom and Robert what happened and again the same white car came back and stuck their hand out the window waving at us. Umm, ya, they seen me.
This could only happen to you, Granny.

I sold my Tolbunt hens for $60 each, the rooster for $45. Got $40 for a dozen eggs. Sold my trio of Calico bantam cochins for $70. I saw some bloody droppings from some of the younger birds so I didn't sell any chicks in case they all got sick. Like I said, it was quite cold for them
You did good! Too bad it was so cold.

no complaints here--windy and cold today.
boiled down the maple sap today into syrup after going for groceries, and making apple crisp in a little while---just cleaned up syrup mess
Oooooooh! That sounds awesome! How many trees do you tap? How much sap did you get? How much syrup? How long does it take? I am drooling now! Do you sell it? I would buy some if you do! Yumminy, yumminy, yumminy YUM! :drool:drool:drool

yes I do, but it's nice to have daughter who also likes to cook. I prefer baking, and she likes cooking main course. Tonite she's dinner,
I'm dessert,
maple syrup is a lot of work for a little outcome. Son and son-in-law tapped trees, gathered and boiled down buckets of sap. They brought me 2 gallons of that to reduce and get thicker. Out of 2 gal I have 3 quarts of pancake syrup! just nice to say it's homemade, and free
And there's my answer....
