Exactly, people always b!tch about paying for dematting. It takes extra time and can be aggravating. Plus it's not pleasant for the dog.

I keep seeing all those posts about the shaved doodles and how the doodle owners are SO mad....

don't they know groomers have no choice but to shave the matted dog? Dematting is painful and unethical, if you don't want a shaved dog, brush your dog!!

doodle owners always complain about groomers and their prices.. meanwhile the groomers have to fuss with their matted coats.

Yep, I can't stand matts. Always gotta keep 'em brushed. I don't know anyone can stand them.

the dogs really don't like the matts either.

It pulls on their skin. And if you wash them while matted, it gets worse.
