Hi Mustang welcome to BYC and Grannys.    The best place to order is local in my opinion.  your TSC or  BST sites.   As far as cold hardy I cant really come with breeds off the top of my head. You would want them with cushion combs and maybe feathered feet.  Chickens can take the cold if they are out of the wind.

Cold hardy is not synonymous with small combed. I've had cold hardy leghorns and pea combed birds that shivered at the thought of 20°.

Me, I think it boils down to the health, size, gender, and environment of the bird rather than a breed.

Handy trick for silver IF you don't display them polish to where you want them wash and dry well then wrap in saran wrap will stop or slow down the tarnishing process

I bought 4 ginormus breasts for $5.00. 99 cents a lb. olny needed 2 . I would like to know how they get them so big. My meaties were half that size. so around 1 1/4 lb per. half split breast if I am mathing right

Wish you all could of seen this pup when CB got home. Funny. He sat at the door whinning like he knew he was coming . cried and whined when he walked in and wont leave his side now. LOL Im glad he isnt up my butt anymore.
