Dr. said Toms thyroid values were low. She retested them thursday. I guess we will find out monday if he needs a specialist. I dont think he could handle surgery. He had his parathyroids removed a long while back.

I know that going under is not wise for folks with a dementia. Anesthesia makes them come out worse than they were.
