Nancy joined us for supper. She made the rolls. She brought me zip ties and I gave her a dozen fresh eggs.
Someone in California wants me to ship her eggs. They will be cooked by the time she gets them I bet.

I told SD today we were missing the beer.
I hear fireworks now. Just starting to get dark here

I got the roof on the playhouse, and screwed the plastic shell to the frame I made. Still need to add the hardware cloth skirt. But I am making progress. Also lining the entire barnyard fence with chicken wire to keep the young birds in. Until I ran out of zip ties.

The plants I have that look similar to that are red. Blooming now. They are in the Iris family.

Fireworks is banned where I live, still hear a few ever now and then. One time, not too long ago, some kids were “playing” with fireworks and lit up the back mountain. I don’t think it was too bad though, so that’s good. But fireworks are quite dangerous here
