If memory serves me right, 5 months is goat gestation.

5 months, wait til females are 18 months & males are 12 months

Here in calf they have a feral cat and barn cat program. You spay and neuter then release. They found just euthanizing them doesn’t work. New cats move in and/or the rodents over run the area. Feral and barn cats are vital.

I don't think there is a cat left on the farm, I suspect the coons ate them. I have never "broken" a farm cat.
