What they gave him was something to slightly lower his blood pressure at bedtime. Could not give him Benadryl (antihistamine) any time near it!I never knew the lack of sleep had to do with autism. Robert hardly sleeps.but when he does dont wake him up!

There have to be consequences. Like if he's rude to you, calmly tell him that behavior is not acceptable and he must either apologize or (make his own dinner) (wash dishes) (something else).It seems to be getting worse here.

Then you out-stubborn him. There's food in the fridge, right? He can get a bowl of cereal if he's hungry, can't he? Make a sandwich? He won't starve.
