Granny's gone and done it again

I don't cut him any slack because he is autistic. If he were blind or lame, he would have to try harder to meet life's challenges. Yes, life is going to be tough for him in some ways. Tougher than for other kids. So the sooner he learns to toughen up, the better. I would not be doing him any favors by protecting or shielding him from life's challenges. I would only be crippling him.
Sigh. I probably shouldn't have said all this. My Kid is way different from Robert, though. There is a lot mine can do that Robert can't. Mine often just needs a swift kick (so to speak) and there are things he can do if he just TRIES. Time will tell, though. I hope he can be self-sufficient. Grandpa and I won't always be here to look after him.

Thats a special story Wishing. The joy of youth is real. We all need to think back. I also have 2 trees that does that but in much bigger sheets. 7 sons is one of them. cool tree and the sycamores another. the syc, are cool because they leave a white trunk under neath the bark.
Cap, congrats on the sale!
Thanks Granny, we are supposed to meet Friday.

Hoping it will be a great addition for photo shoots. Still have to transplant it, but hoping it grows nicely. Not sure what type it is...it was in the pre-annual section.
Coreopsis, perennial. Comes back every year.
