Heavy rains again today. Probably got a couple more inches, maybe more. Chance of rain again tomorrow.

Up late, canning peas, tried double stacking pints in the canner, been hard to keep pressure constant, got 6 quarts of veggie soup ready to can in the am, need to make more dill pickles

May I ask why you are constantly washing chickens?

Good question, cherry, I've wondered that too. I don't wash mine. But Cap sells hers so I reckon she wants them to look and smell nice.
