Now thats going to be a really mind blowing day. I cant imagine me killing a snake with a shovel. It looks easier with a pellet gun.

That posted before I was done. I was going to say, you don't want to shoot inside a building because of ricochets. Could shoot your own eye out.

If I was outside I would aim to chop its head off with the front, sharp edge of the shovel.

And you don't touch the snake's head, even after it is dead because it can still bite you. You dig a good deep hole and bury it, shoving it in with the shovel and covering it over good and packing it down so dogs can't dig it up.

I chopped its' head off with the shovel. You have to be careful, because the head still has venom.
