Well self ............. with Erv's help and his bale wagon managed to load up 48 big round bales and get 41 of them into the hay barn. Why only 41 you ask , well one exploded so fed that to the young stock. and Managed to run the tire right off the left front rim of the bobcat. SO I unloaded Erv' bale wagon on 3 and a partial wheels so he could head home and NOT have to leave his trailer at my place BUT didn't want to run the bobcat on cement floors that way. Barely got into town by my curfew (set by Angie)

I figure 2/3 to 1/2 of each bale is 'good useable " hay the rest is crap BUT it was free and handy and Trying to find hay this year of any type is like looking for a Virgin at a chicken ranch in Nevada.

I do know the young stock seemed to like what I put out for them.

Plus I have 12 bales left from last year and then all the "loose hay" we put up this year on the farm and the left over. AND I should have fewer animals to feed by Thanksgiving.
