History: The Asian Black Chicken is a newly developed breed in the U.S. These birds harken back to the great and ancient Asian breeds such as the Langshan. The Langshan influence is very apparent looking at the Asian Black, but the Asian Black is a stockier bird with more production potential. This is a perfect breed for adding some extra diversity to an egg or meat flock.

I hadn't told anyone yet. kiki knew because she got me hooked up with the lady before the cruise.

Haha, nope. They'll quarantine in the dog crate for 30 days. I've got time.

Yep. Every time. I take care of all my birds, change shoes, then the new birds, then I wash up and change my clothes, no more contact with new birds for the day. Can't risk transferring bugs and boogers to my flock. Also disinfect my shoes.
