Granny's gone and done it again

WELL the trip.

I checked the my email about 10 pm thurs night and HERES a note from her requesting I delivery the "girls" to Wright again, SERIOUSLY you couldn't be bothered to actually call me???? :rant:mad: Then Mike was a little late to we didn't get to the farm until about 7:15 or so. Imagine my SHOCK the yard was mowed and everything trimmed. and the live trap was set.

Got the spare bobcat tire and the shot tire and tube into the Shop and loaded tool box and jack (in case the trailer got a flat) Rod's truck was no where to be found. So grabbed a couple sticks and headed down to the trailer to get that hooked up. There were Rod and Vicki with the 2 heifers already to load and the rest of the young stock in the pastures/paddocks. IT went SOOOOOOOOOO smoothly.

Then called the vet at 8 to ask about the paperwork since it said delivering to Cheyenne. Recep[tionist didn't know if I needed new papers or not and Chance (vet) was already at a job so waited until she could get ahold of him , YEP new paperwork. So back to Dickinson for the "correct" papers. It ended up costing "THE LADY" 153.00 for gas since there was 80 extra/unnecessay miles on it due to her changing her mind. OMG the place we dropped them off , pasture was full of cactus so warned her daughter (buyer was not there) that the girls weren't used to that. BUT she had some nice looking hay and fresh water for them. We got back to Dickinson about 10:30 on Friday night. I think Mike drove maybe 15 minutes BUT he kept falling asleep.

ate at a place in Gillette called The Prime Rib. SO dark in there I needed mike to turn his phone into a flashligth so I could read the menu. The Seafood Bisque was VERY GOOD the Prime rid was NOT. I ordered rare and it was nice and pink BUT HOT thruout. The crust was to tuff to chew, steamed veggies both cold and cooked to death. Fries were battered (did NOT know that) and a coke was over $35.00 Mike ordered something else and he liked what he got Total bill was $66.06 without a tip. I was going to just order a rib eye steak BUT it was even more money.

Did hear from the new owner and she is/was very impressed with both heifers and happy. OH and one of them might now qualify as a trip she has developed white hairs on her forehead. I promise you they were NOT there in Dec or Jan.

White hairs could be from a scar, maybe, not genetic?
