Granny's gone and done it again

Back to work tomorrow granny :hmm Been trying to get house chores and laundry done today. Also I’ve had my first ride on Harry in 5 weeks this morning. He too has had the same amount of time off so I was a little worried about getting back on regarding how he would feel. He felt super though and was a good lad all the way round the village. In fact he was marching!

Morning all
Morning, Granny! You inspired me yesterday. I didn't have any saffron rice but I found some wild rice blend so I seared some chicken tender fillets in a hot pan, seasoned them with salt and pepper and cut them up into the cooked rice. It was SOOO good, thanks! ❤️

Im feeling ok I guess. No energy at all. Hungry and dont even feel like putting food in the microwave.
Something without cooking or microwave? I have protein bars in for when I’m like that. Quite filling and no faffing with them!

Good Harry!

I dont think I have anything like that. I just need to force myself to do it. "faffing"?

Hi Blue, don‘t you fancy getting into them again? I can’t imagine my life without them. Good for the soul they are. Harry’s field companion Brannon is a half Arab along with welsh in him. Coming into the house for visits sounds interesting!
York, a couple of factors at work here. 1. this is not good horse country. I used to be in a dry, desert sort of climate, wide open, lots of trails and wonderful riding weather year round. Not so where I am now. Also, the bug situation is different here, biting insects bad for man and beast. 2. I've aged and my health won't permit me to ride and care for horses any more. :hit And 3. At our age, the cost of horses would be foolish to take on. So, though I have regrets around living without horses, and reality is harsh, it is a fact of life. So any time you want to post pics of your Harry, you will bring a little joy to this old horse-loving heart! 😉
