Granny's gone and done it again

evening all.

SOOOOOO just to let you know how dry it was here this year. Feed Oats which was $2.90 a bushel last year is $4.50 a bushel this year. Will be filling the bin and 1/2 on this Friday.

Hay is $300 to 400 dollars a ton. and that's IF you can find any.

Finally got all the pics I needed for the "starter herd" today and got it posted on fb.

1 bull , 1 proven cow, 1 heifer (both the females are "exposed" to Tibbits and Myles and then 1 virgin heifer. $4500.00 for the works. Delivery possible for a fee.

Hows you Twist?

tired, farm was NOT relaxing or de-stressing today. BUT got stuff done. Hay-a-swather continues to escape and then put himself back into with the young stock which is where he belongs. I need to pick up 2- 10 ft gates to replace the barbed wire gate we make a year or two ago. It was all I could afford at the time.

Annie is in the bottom trying to eat an apple which might be a bit to big for her.
