Granny's gone and done it again

Well, it started around 3am when some dog in the neighborhood started barking. Ugh. Hubs and I did some errands in town and now I'm just trying to stay awake until after dinner. Fish. We are having rock fish, green beans, and whatever starch the carbovores want to fix.
sounds good. Baked?

She doesnt know she is doing it. It just falls out. Scooter sounds exactly like Star. I know its her brain. She will go stand in a corner and just stare . Im afraid theres no joy left in her.
Poor Star. Does she like to be pet or cuddle or anything?
Scooter has loads of joy left, he just doesn't want to be left behind. Which happens every time he turns around!

Yeah, I think snow would make a difference. I like having something alive in the house with me though. That way if someone catches me talking to myself I can say I was talking to the cat (or dog or other cat or parakeets).
I just say I was singing.

My dad hated animals his whole life. He was alone in his golden years and told me he was going to get a cat. He never had the chance to though. Somehow I couldnt see him changing the litter box or not freaking out if it jumped on his table
My dad has no pets, not even a house plant. But he does have a herd of deer that come to drink right outside his kitchen window along with the songbirds and the bees and turkeys. Creek is dry, so he's supplying the only water around and a quiet safe place for them. Lots of babies around this year.

sounds good. Baked?
Pan fried... butter, salt, and lemon. Easy peasy.

No, my dd has a cat that loves me. I see it every two or three weeks and I don't have to deal with a litterbox.
I feel that way about all the little kids that have either been born or moved into the neighborhood in the last year or so. Lovely to see them doing all the baby and kid stuff and even lovelier that I don't have to be the one chasing after them!
