meanwhile, hubs still sleeps.

So I get a phone call yesterday afternoon.

From Rod's step daughter. Evidently Rod is in a nursing home as "they" can't seem to get his pain under control. WITCH didn't say which home so that took forever to find him. Then she informs me that Arron (rod's son) is being moved out of the trailer and going back to Lemon SD to live with mommy. Mommy doesn't want the almost 30 year old to live at the farm by himself. SOOOOOOOOOOOO starting Sunday night there will be no one at the farm to take care of the Chickens, Yaks OR Arse. SO VERY NOT AMUSED !!!!!!!!!!!

At least they told you.

Only good news was furnace man got the furnace working in the yellow house. Evidently the thermostat had a loose wire which then "hugged" another wire which blew a fuse. THANK GOD there was a spare out there. That was $175.00 over 55 miles there and back. New fuse of that very OLD type are 10 bucks each.
