Granny's gone and done it again

I planted 150lbs of Ky. blue grass here. Most of it ran down hill and into the neighbors pond.
seeds need to be covered by a topper, like cow manure and then gone over with a roller to hold them on the hill. The ground also needs to be prepped by running a hard rake along the slope too. I will try to get a picture of the slope I have. It is not large but is quite an incline!

Interesting news here! Have to share this one on the Covid thread. Kids got their results back. Remember, they both had two tests. The first was the quick.. Austin's came back positive. Bronwyn's negative. Their saliva tests...same thing! Thought for sure she would have it. She had the Moderna, he had the J&J. I tried to get him to get the booster. He said he wasn't worried about it. Well now he's really upset about his smell and taste being gone. Two others in the family had that, still aren't back to normal after one being a year, the other only a month. I am still ok. Had the Moderna.

I did the scratching thing and some loose straw on top. It didnt work. I still have gullys down over that hill.

It can take a bit of work to get the prep work!

I was very sore until yesterday, mostly from removing roots. The bare part of the lawn is where we had a tree removed last spring.

that grass seed isnt cheap either. The weeds have it now. I went with trees to help hold the soil.

City, caught me gone and cut down about 7 of my trees. They were supposed to give me the option of burying the wires. Broke my heart but good news is they are coming back in bush form which is even better to block the road!
I paid with MIs to plant those trees! Over 600 by the time I had to stop.
Robert asked me today for a gas powered chain saw. :hmm I know there are 2 that needs to come down but I dont trust those things.

And now you know.

It is the start of a new day: Aunt Jemima is now Pearl Milling Company. Though the Brand is new to store shelves, the name itself has been a part of our story for over 130 years. Pearl Milling Company was a small mill in the bustling town of St. Joseph, Missouri.
