no, he has a worker that comes for a couple hrs. once a week. Its hard for him to socialize and make any lasting friends.

It is. My housekeeper has an autistic GD and we took them out to eat together and they sat on the other side of the restaurant like a date. They seemed to get along ok but they didnt want to do it again.

Autism seems pretty annoying...wow. Sorry if this sounds dumb, but how does autism affect HIS life? I think there are different levels of it?

There are and he is considered high functioning. He also has tics. He rubs his face a lot. especially when he is excited or stressed. Not being social is probably the biggest thing in his life. He is not an easy person to get along with. there are too many things to be able to explain really

he just cant handle it. We tried giving him Bday partys and he would go to his room to get away from the other kids. It was overwhelming to him.
