My friends just bought a fema manufactured house to put on their property.

A lot of those Fema homes originally were built with a wood I can't call the name of right now but it contained formaldehyde.

Thank you for the warm welcome! We were headed to a robotics competition. Luckily we checked the weather before we left otherwise we were driving right through it. That would have been bad. I believe we had a nursing home that collapsed and seems like a warehouse. I'm glad you are ok!

Welcome! I live in CA. We have drought, wildfires, and the occasional earthquakes... no problem. Tornados sound terrifying!

I remember the purple one. It is pretty in bloom.

Some people use prickly pear cactus as a big statement plant or hedgerows. They have been doing some roadwork north of here trying to fix a slide area. They planted a ton of prickly pear on the uphill slope. It will be amazing when it grows.

I was in one earthquake. 4. something. I was in an upstairs flat and the whole front wall cracked open.

We have been getting some rain today and it's supposed to get very heavy tonight. We need every little bit.

Its storming here...had to move all the porch chairs in because we lost a few last time!

Hi Clucky, welcome to Grannys. We also had those tornados. Killed a bunch of people in Ky. I just got strong winds thank goodness.

Sadly yes. I heard about the tornado in KY as well
