Well, yall know Im a little forgetful but I topped the cake today. I forgot to make dinner. I remembered after Tom had gone to his room for the night but I made him one and and took it to his room. I also forgot my pain pill Or I slept through it anyway

Busy busy. Cleaned both the coops, dealt with the composting, chopped some kindling, moved firewood into the garage, catbox duty... all before the rain was due. Then I finished up writing some cards to old neighbors, took them to the post office and did some shopping. THEN it started raining.

The cool thing was a card from neighbors we hadn't heard from in 20 yrs! They sent it up to the farm since that was the last address they had for us. I found it in dad's mailbox when I was there on Mon. Very good people. At last count they had 5 daughters. They are probably grandparents by now.

Today is my brother's birthday! We went to down town. It was so pretty! There were lights everywhere!

It was! We met two couples who were so nice! Their smiles were contagious. Made me happy
