The two of us dragged that queen sized mechanical bed upstairs. Phew. Hope to never have to move that again.

I went to bed last night around two. Don't expect more kids for at least a week. Glad i got the door on the last pen. Now to get chicken wire up over the cattle panels. Shouldn't take too long once i get the roll of wire into the Mule and up near the barn. Maybe tomorrow.

Well at least you can sleep knowing you have a week.

The house is ours! Going to go there soon! We could finally set up a tree!!!! I can finally go see the chickens!

Just got back from the house. The chickens are scared of me, so I tried to befriend them. Lots of flowers in the garden.

The first picture is a shoe cleaner! Not THAT special, but I found it cool.

Congratulations on the house. The chickens will warm up to you quickly once you feed them a few times. Very food motivated, chickens are!
Shoe cleaner is awesome. We had a boot scraper when I was a kid. I think my grandpa made it.

Got a couple of cards today. One from Granny and "the gang". Thank you, it was a pretty card. Kids skating on the swimming hole. Hope they don't find a weak spot.
The other card was from Wishing. Thanks girl. Cute card. I think I'd be skinning me a kitty cat.
I'll be planting those seeds for sure this spring in some spot around the perimeter.

You're welcome, Pert. Henry (cat) loves the Christmas tree. He hangs out underneath the whole time it's up. We aren't having a tree this year. No room for one. I will have a picture updayte about this once I catch up. So... maybe tomorrow!

I know you can't do it but someone who knows how could pull the switch out enough to turn it upside down so when the switch is down it is on.

They are warming up! I have been sitting in their area for a few hours everyday and it is paying off! Most of them eat from my hand already. I am also trying to get them used to Kiki, but they have a mite issue, so I try to keep them separate for the most part.
