Animal poo is cool. Unless it is wet and or warm. Then it is not cool. It is gross. Informative, but gross.

The archaeologists used to collect some from sites in CO, AZ, NM and UT when I worked for a museum in NM. It was interesting. We just catalogued it, didn't get to study or analyze it, but it was interesting. Dried but not quite fossilized.
