I did a little bit of rock collecting today, down at the river.

And, i found what i am pretty sure is an arrowhead with a broken tip. My first one!

It has definitely been worked and shaped.

My Aunt was the same way. She tried hard to lose weight. Everything she tried didn't work. And she was sticking to it diligently. Some folks have a very low metabolism.

I have a friend with the same problem. Dr says she has a survivor's metabolism... she can go a long time on very little and stores fat better than any squirrel!

I havent had any sleep. I need a nap. I dont have time right noe though. Have to make dinner when all I want to do is go to bed. grumpy now. Lots of pain.

Our neighbor called yesterday... he had a chicken turn up in his backyard wondering if it was ours. It was not. Still there this morning so we went over and got her. Neighbor is disabled, so happy we could help out.
In 2020 the white parakeet showed up.
2021 it's this... oh my

Took 3 of us 20 minutes to catch her.
#1 already named her. Ruffles. He's hoping the owners don't claim her.

Peach is the only to come over and say howdy. Rest of the mob was hiding from the Cooper's hawk... trying to get a quail all morning.

I was so sad when I heard this. I had just read an article on her and how she was turning 100 in Jan. Almost Betty, I say..close enough. A long life that seemed to be a happy one.
