Maybe that is the problem!
I am feeding back crushed microwaved egg shells. Lost my oyster shell source that they liked to so much. Have not found a replacement they like except their own shells.

I agree, garbage day is the worst!

I actually like garbage day. Forces me to get something done!!

That's more than I am getting out of 23.... 11 OG hens (2 and 3 yo) and 12 pullets (5 mo old). Come on, sunshine!

I've got 8 that are over 5 yrs. 2 of those are 10 yrs this spring and my Ameraucana will be 9.
The 6 youngsters are over a year now and I'm assuming the new stray frizzy is a pullet based on the tiny eggs she's laying. The days are getting longer so hopefully they will start laying soon.

Never could get my chickens to eat pellets. Are they eating the shells? Those should be fine. Just that time of year.

They ARE SO good! I love paintings, since I suck at painting. He did great!

He had a good teacher. Does a lot of things on the computer now. I think he could make a living at it if he chose too. I think you could too.
Sonoma county has Art Trails every October. Local artists open their studios for 2 weekends. It's an opportunity for us to see what they do and for them to sell. There might be something similar in your county.

Hi guys.. I mean gals. , Real quick, wondering how Tom is doing? I saw that you're waiting for an antibiotic Granny? It's so painful. My son with Spina Bifida gets them, he drinks cranberry juice the second he thinks one is coming on. Sometimes it works, also take Azo pills.. cranberry pills.
