Granny's gone and done it again

Tom has prostrate cancer and its very large which presses on his bladder so he cant empty all the way. Thats why he gets infections.
Scott had that too. He started having a lot of pain with it, but we decided the Dr. was right when he asked if we really wanted to put him through stuff since he had Alzheimer's. Family and I decided no.

Difficult decision, but makes sense. 😔

Tom refused it back when he was able to have surgery because it would of put him in a diaper and him only having one good hand would leave me to change him. I tried all I had to make him understand I didnt mind doing that but he just wouldnt budge.

How old was he when diagnosed?

Good night all. Granny, will stop by tomorrow to see how Tom and son are doing..and..to see if you get a minutes rest. I know how hard being a caregiver is. Take care.
thank you. I hope you rest well.

They don’t have any ideas as to why it got worse.

No, she won’t be back for a while.
Try not to worry too much. If it gets bad again they will help you. Your body has been through a lot of trauma with the surgery, and pain can rear up from that at unexpected times. Breathe deep and try to relax as best you can. I think it's hard to do in a hospital setting. Hope you get to go home soon.
