I would try tightening them again and them maybe glueing them in place and see if that helps. OR wrap the threads in Teflon tape (like for plumbing) and see if that would hold

they get pretty hot. I have some teflon floating around here somewhere. Think the chicks do that ?

no, I never could find a heating pad that would stay on past 2 hrs.

umm, whats the version mean ? like windows 7 ? Thats what I got.
