I guess the virus is complying with the cdc guidelines. I’m still really congested and tired, but back to work tomorrow.

Still having thermostat issues. It’s like it goes into vacation mode… just blows cold air and gets to 40-50 in the house. I closed up the cats and plants in a room with a space heater last night. Dh and the kids were in a room with a space heater. I took a page from twist’s book and had a bunch of blankets and two dogs. Dh woke me up at some point to say that the heat was working. But this morning it’s back off.

The cats are in a kennel, so no worries about them with the plants.

Oh my! Hope you get the furnace back to behaving itself, Shaw!

We bought one, but it’s beyond DH’s skill to change. So we called a guy, but not sure if he’ll get out today or not.

Ah, welcome to the dark side of home ownership. YouTube can be your best friend when something needs fixing. Hubs must have saved us a few thousand $$ over the years by watching the right how-to video on YouTube. Heck, I already found out how to install Granny's new range hood! Very helpful.

Mine was just 2 wires. It was an old house though. In Mi. Just have to shut the electric off, and change it out. It does have to be level on the wall. I imagine they are made different now.

This one involves something in the basement. He’s done them before and almost never calls a pro, so I trust him if he thinks that’s what needs to be done. The plants are all in the upstairs bathroom now.
