They're really too long to drain, but i did try to. We have 13 acres.

Are you on flat ground or a slant? We take our hoses and run them up the hill from the faucets. Disconnect from the faucet and let gravity help us out.

Welcome back! How's the homestead?

Lost most of my birds and rabbits to a dog attack while I was sick. Now I have to rebuild everything. The coops and flocks. Was my fault. I should have sucked it up and been out there doing my job. I was weak and slept off a fever for four days. BTW summer fevers suck worse than winter fevers.

I used to do that with 100 ft hose. It was rough on me.
