Granny's gone and done it again

I loved having the colored eggs. Always had at least a couple of hens that would lay the mint or olive color. Sometimes a real nice blue.

I use to get a nice mix of colors. various shades of browns, blues, greens, cream, and white. Even had one that laid a pinkish-colored one. Then add in the ducks and turkey eggs.

Countdown til we get the mil moved. So I took some hens from her yesterday - six for me and two for our neighbors. She told me that her neighbor was going to take the rest (cool, she had 16+ chickens I don’t have comfortable room for them all - as is six was more than I wanted but…oh well)

So this morning she calls - CAN YOU TAKE MORE??

No, but I can help you find homes for them. I know quite a few chicken people who would be happy to give them good homes.
“No I don’t want them split up”
