Good to know. Guess I won't try that, then. What little vision I have is too precious to risk.

I only did it because I was legally blind. Contacts/Glasses could not correct my vision. I lived in a world that was blurry or fuzzy most days. Wasn't until afterwards that I realized how bad my vision was

Progressive bifocals. There's no line, the different parts of the lenses are for distance vision, or looking at things that are close, and in between. I take them off to read. I don't need glasses for that.

I'm legally blind without my glasses. So far, I'm still correctable... but getting worse. I do need new glasses too, though. I can't see the tv as well any more as I could even last year. I have to hit Pause and squint to read anything on it.

We see bald eagles around here occasionally. They are magnificent creatures, even if they do eat carrion. The sight of one just stirs thr heart.
