Well, i hope to hatch a lot of them.I really dont have room for these 2. They won't be special anyways. If I get room I really want to buy some Bantam Polish from you!
I do my dog's teeth cleaning. They don't like it much, especially the little one. I do hers in stages. They look so healthy! I just took my Gracie in for teeth cleaning today. View attachment 2995304
I had chicks in a bin in the living room during a power outage. Somehow one got out of the bin. Crazy Cat picked it up before we knew it was out. She brought it to my husband and put it on his foot! She expected him to toss it, so she could fetch it again ! She loves to play fetch. The chick was totally unharmed! The dogs are better than the cats are although I wouldn't trust the dogs very far. They leave the chickens alone in the yard when one of the roosters gets loose but in the house?
2 years ago we had a blue bird get down our chimney and wind up in our wood stove. Silly things do that regularly in the spring when they are looking for somewhere to nest. Why they think a chimney looks like a nesting box is beyone me but they do.
I managed to catch the bird but the minute my hand cleared the stove the little ash covered missile squirted out of my hand and took off for the nearest window....only to have one of our cats jump out from behind the sofa, jump up and grab it out of mid air. That was the end of that little blue bird. Frankly I was impressed. That old cat hadn't jumped that high in years but you can imagine how long loose chicks would last in the house.
