Of course he did. You don't set up your chess pieces for a checkmate and then walk away. He had completely encircled Ukraine. Why else would he do that?

The first time my dad introduced "spam" I was really shocked. Definitely not my thing, but it might have to do with a generational thing too.

There is a turkey version that is not so fatty. But still pretty salty. Every once in a while like maybe once a year ....

Good morning, Grannyland! We got hit with a sleet storm yesterday. Gracie came in and shook, and it sounded like a shower of ice crystals hitting the floor! Gonna be continued cold and wintry weather through Friday, then we get sunshine and 50's back. Bipolar Mother Nature for sure!

I'm watching school closures on the tv and it seems I'm sitting right in the middle of it all. Schools 75 miles to the north, south, east, and west are closed and that's just in my viewing area. That's a lot of schools.

Just heard military jets go over .. again. They've been real active this past week. Didn't hear any though the last couple of days. But now. We have a big Air force base in the next county. Now for some real sad news. Found out yesterday that one of our grandchildren just got deployed over to...I can't say where on here, but you can guess. Prayers for her. They say we won't fight, but I don't know.....

Same here. We live about 10 minutes from Fort Bragg, not many jets yet.

The Man's bank is closing at 11:30 today. They sent them home 2 hours early yesterday. We are experiencing sleet and freezing rain, and are under flood warnings. Expecting power outages as well. Cold very cold.
