Morning all! More piggie photos! She has a scratch wound (maybe from yesterday), that I have coated with some Veterycin. She is still on free feed and electrolyte water. My gilt is larger than my brothers. Here is her and my brother's piggie right before we separated them. They were chilling under the heat lamp, it's a little hard to see.

This price gouging is absurd. Such a small percentage of our oil comes from Russia, there is no reason for prices to go up like that.

My nervous and hyper little male Sheltie was gnawing/chewing on both his front knees/ankles last week and I couldn't see anything, partly bc he wasn't too cooperative about letting me examine him and partly bc I don't see well. Took him to the vet and they couldn't see anything either so I suspect maybe a tiny thorn broken off a "beggar's lice" seed pod. Vet wrote him a Rx for Prednisone and Trazadone to calm him down, which he's been on about 5 days now, bid on the Traz, down to 1x on the Pred. Today he is showing urinary incontinence so I stopped the Traz. Do you think that's what's causing it?
