Granny's gone and done it again

I just took out 10,000 dollars from an IRA. I need to get a few things done around here, and need a few things. Like a new fridge. Remember I said it was dieing? It's still hanging on. I need my front sidewalk replaced. It's so slippery now when wet. It's quite worn down. I'm afraid of not only me slipping and falling, but others that come up to the front door. And, I need my Cherry tree cut way back. And, Cooper needs his teeth cleaned. There's more to be done.
You can make or buy paint that has sand in it for slippery areas.

Mine is broken, and has been tumbled in the river, probably for a long time. But i love it.

a yard of dirt isnt that big. pick up should handle it fine. You will see when they load half a yard.
It’s not the volume so much as the weight. Especially since we’ve been having a bit of rain lately. A cubic yard could be over 2k lbs. (which I’m pretty sure I’ve carried in the bed of my truck before but hubs had to give me great concerns about it sigh)

Oh well. I can plant some seedlings. I can plot the in ground beds. I hate the price of wood right now I wish I could use my existing planter boxes I turned into my compost bins back as planter boxes. That would help. Build new bigger compost bins…sigh. Debating if I should rent a rototiller or something more intense or just do it the old fashioned way for the in ground stuff. Got to figure out how to fence out chickens too, the jerks.

I would send you some of my guys if I could for the sidewalk! Lol. Got one of my coworkers always saying he (and a few guys) would come down and help me on a few projects.

Sigh. Sometimes I debate dipping into my 401k to get me caught up on the finances. But the tax hit and the fact that my 401k is it for my retirement stuff makes me hesitant to do that. I think hubs has some sort of retirement plan through the county but I don’t know all the details, what he’d be entitled to at retirement age if he makes it that far. Sigh.

Yesterday I buy bifocals, today I see an ad for eye drops that eliminates the need for them
I wouldn’t trust that too far.

Ran all the errands today. Tomorrow will be some yard work/gardening I hope. Also my vacuum sealer arrived. Holy. Heck. I love it. Cheaped out and got the Amazon basics one and no regrets. I just sealed up so much chicken for the freezer.

Stopped by tractor supply for seeds and feeds. And I saw this sign. Of course I had to get it! I’m now cut off from spending money for a bit lol. Also had to get me new shoes since uh. Mine are so far beyond dead.
