Granny's gone and done it again

I love the big birds. small ones too! How are you Cap?
Pretty good today. Been picking up sticks in the yard and pulling out rocks that are sticking out of the dirt enough for the lawn mower to hit.
The only bad part is cleaning house. We will have our neighbor over for St. Patty's day feast. At least that's hubby's reason for me to clean up.
 
We go from one drama to another.
the veep and I were having a bit of a chit chat this morning. He was acting very un-veep like...this is the guy who accused me being two minutes late one day of killing the morale of the company....I was two minutes late today however, they closed the road I normally take in. So I was already expecting shenanigans...but he was...really chill...concerning.

Anyway, he was saying how everyone lately just seemed to be crazier, more ragey, more aggressive driving on the roads...

I said I'm not surprised. We've all had so much stuff loaded on top of us for the past two years....people are reaching their breaking point. Though the aggressive driving kinda shocked me....I told him what? Ain't nobody got gas for that!!!
 
As do mine. Their job is to ANNOUNCE, loudly and repeatedly, "Intruder Alert! Call 911! Stranger Danger!" And then once the "danger" is past, it is to chase the offending vehicle off the property, yelling, "That's right, run away! And don't come back!" Of course if a human alights from the intrusive vehicle, they are all smiles and wags, wondering, "Where have you been all our lives?" Couple of goofballs.

Lena (youngest) raises cain usually when some one comes in the lobby and then runs and hides. She's much braver when there is a glass window or screen door between her and "the boogies'
