Ive never had home made kraut. Is it a lot different from canned?

better for you and I prefer it. This recipe is dead easy.

Shred cabbage, stuff (medium pack) in hot sterilized jars, add a teaspoon each of salt, sugar and white vinegar, fill jar with simmering water, put n lid and ring and water bath for 20 minutes. Wait at least 4 weeks and VIOLA sauerkraut.

just a tps of vinegar? I would of thought you would fill the jar with it. huh, learn something new
 
One of my brother-in-laws is a certfied natural/medical Dr. We have been in contact with them on what could be done to help me. They do extensive blood testing, but nothing has showed up as being out of the ordinary. In fact, the one nurse said that there are people that would give their life savings to return to the level of physical/bodily health that the blood work shows.
We have decided that perhaps I just need physical rest to reset the body and mind, and go from there.
Taking up the rock collecting and ceramics have helped me a lot. I burned out as a nurse.
