My dad turned our first butchered male into chicken soup. Our second is sitting in the freezer. Nobody is going to eat him at this point. My sister did a lazy processing job and left a lung in there.

I imagine you could still remove the lung after it thaws. Was the soup good?

Well the friend came today to take them. He said he wouldn't. They are a starving swarm. He said there is no telling how long they had been in the field looking for a place to build a hive and couldn't find one. Since they eat their own honey, and wont produce it without a hive, they are starving. He said the swarm is already so small some must have already died. So sad to see honeybees die because of stuff like that.
