Sigh. Mil arrived. Turns out she doesn’t need to be present for the court date it’s just the lawyers to be present. Weird. But what do I know about family/divorce law down here.

So she’s getting her hair cut tomorrow and then heading back home.

…which. Phew. “Oh don’t give your dog flea preventatives. They cause cancer”
“Oh that kind of food is sooo bad” (he’s on a grain free food since that’s what I can get that doesn’t have chicken in it…I am well aware of the risks and the contention about that)

…so glad I don’t have a kid. You’re bad enough with my dog who…guess what. He’s doing ok. Yes he gets flea preventatives instead of “just bathe him in dawn”.

Yes he gets a commercially available quality dry food. Guess what. That’s better for him than what you feed your Aussie (green beans and chicken breast) and uh. Guess what. That’s technically grain free too! (And her Aussie is also a lot chonky)

And yep. He gets his vaccines too. I am the worst dog owner ever obviously.

It takes a lot of skill to nip a convo in the bud and change it before they even know what hit them. As soon as she starts to bring something up interrupt her and ask for a recipe claoming how DH loves her.......

I hope they do better tracking yours. Mine left Kansas City , MO and have "disappeared" according to the pO tracking system
