So sad Whites, my dd has RA as well. Really sad to watch what it does to people. The meds are horrible, so many side effects. She was diagnosed when she was 17, she's 30 now. She was in the 11th grade & decided that she couldn't play volleyball anymore because it was hurting her knees so bad. Took her to the doctor & since her great grandma had RA they tested her. Glad she didon't have to go through a lot of years of not knowing what was causing her pain.
Johnny was the best welder I've ever seen. The man could weld anything, anywhere, 'cept underwater. Unfortunately, he also suffered from RA, to the extent that he couldn't more than 10-15 min. at a time; he hurt that bad. He tried to kill the constant pain with booze; it didn't work. His immune system was destroyed from all the meds he was on, and he'd catch everything that came down the road. The last time he was hospitalized for bronchitis he caught some other bug while he was in there, and his body couldn't fight it. He died on the day he was to be released...St. Patrick's Day...he was 55.
Taken so young.. That was yesterday right ? Im sorry Whites.
