same thing happened here but that was my fault.He is also going to replace some posts that got set in concrete but are rotting at ground level bc the concrete was not beveled upward. I don't know the right word.

Personally, i don’t recommend doing so without, for lack of better words, prior knowledge. Chickens are domesticated, wild birds are, as their name implies, very much wild. IMO, don’t mess with wildlife unless it messes with you. Don’t think keeping it inside will increase it’s chance of survival.
I do, but I also don’t plan to do so unless sometime drastic happens. She looked so peaceful, didn’t really like the idea of ruining that. So far everyone else is fine.
