Granny's gone and done it again

You guys ever tried taking a match, blowing it out really fast and sticking it on the tick's rear the same instant? It works for us.
Many of the ticks are too small for rhat, you could burn yourself!

Well, what was my last post saying last night? I planted my last plants feeling it was safe enough from another snow. It snowed. Not much, but snowed. Of course! Well, Alyssum and mum's. Thinking they should be ok. In the one photo with the strip up front..close up, is where I planted the Allyssum. I planted another type of plant.. flowering.. can't remember the name.

That scraggly looking one up front is the mum plant I've had for years. It usually gets huge! I had to pull it back..not sure what it will do now. It's gorgeous in the fall. The Allyssum usually drops a lot of seeds and grows out. I like it, so planted more because I didn't last year, wasn't as full. Should be this year if it doesn't die off from the cold! 😠 Gotta count our blessing, we need it, especially snow on the mountains. We're still in a very dangerous dry zone. They're talking about limiting water this year.
