Sounds like too high humidity, which can be remedied much easier than heat spikes.

Well, me not knowing anything about hatching, mentioned this to her....

Used are best when it comes to LG IMO... If she had good results the 1st time, most likely it isn't a thermostat issue.

Some hatches I've had to do that to keep humidity above 25%

My two problems...
I can get fertile eggs, but I wouldn't necessarily want the chicks that hatched from them.
I can not have roos, so I would not look forward to having to regime 80% percent of them (my luck)



Eta..I know i can find other fertile eggs...but I wouldn't want to spend money the first time....just in case..

So here's what you do. Hatch your free eggs and sell the babies. THEN use the money to shop for eggs you want. That way you get experience incubating before you spend money.

So I kinda don't listen to anything she says..well I listen to her but I don't "hear" her too well.


I've printed good info for her ...she doesn't read it.
