I think because its so tall it just wont dry up. Kevin looked at the blades and said they were very dull. I guess thats why its leaving a strip uncut. He wanted to take them off but Robert wasnt up to it.

It certainly wouldn't hurt to either get them sharpened or replaced.

taller grass definitely takes longer to dry out in my experience. A good "gentle" North Dakota breeze helps.

Gentle being 10 to 20 mph.
