Granny's gone and done it again

Last night I wormed all my adult chickens with Valbazen. Was going to use Ivermectin but when I researched other threads here I changed my mind. Do I need to repeat in a week? And I don't need to discard the eggs, right?
I’ve wormed with Valbazen. Yes, you need to repeat in a week. (Ugh… I remember having to catch all the chickens and give it to them… it was hard!)

Some say to discard the eggs. I haven’t, and didn’t notice a difference. (And I’m obviously still alive!)

Here’s a post I found somewhere:
All about Valbazen (link)

It seems like there’s disagreement on the subject. I say do whatever you feel most comfortable with.

Thanks, Lemon. We treated them after they went to roost. Way to hot to chase chickens during the day. Not only they, but we, could have suffered heat stroke! Just plucked them off the roosts like grapes off the vine, lol! Easy peasy with a small battery-operated lantern. Then we tied a length of macrame cord around a wing so we could tell which ones were done. When all done, we took off the cords and told them to quit messing around and go to sleep! 😄

I should try it that way next time I have to!
