When I worked for a roofing company we replaced the shingles with metal standing seam roofing. Temperatures were in the upper 80's, humid and the gnats were horrible that year.View attachment 3160276

Lol, I'm just the opposite, Granny! My mind wakes up about an hour before the body can drag out of bed!

Today i went down to the river. Tried to find a new place to get rocks in the river. Ended up walking through the middle and picking up rocks as i went along. Really, our island has a terrific selection of rocks. The water kept me cool. Very nice time. Hard part is dragging the bucket of rocks up the bank to the Mule.

I don't watch either of these, Pert, but in Alone, the contestants get to wear clothes.

Today I made a large batch of broth from two roasted chickens. One was a young bird we ate, the other an old hen I roasted then stewed for the dogs. Tomorrow I will pressure can several quart jars of broth. I feel very accomplished.

there both survival shows. Its not as dramatic as naked and afraid . Everyone keeps their clothes on. Its on the history channel
