Honestly, that doesn't bum me at all. SoCal isn't really all that great for me tbh. I can stay here if I have to, but the dry desert heat that's just going to get worse....plus the freaking insane cost of living combined with the stress of my job (but they pay me well enough that I'm kinda stuck with them) PLUS I feel like all of hubs's friends...well...one they've all drifted away, they only make an effort with us when they want/need something (ie puppy sitter, mechanic work, etc) and...there's other things too but I won't get into it.

If we can knock down the debt load a bunch, I won't be so trapped with the job and can do something I actually enjoy again, or at least something that doesnt cause me crap tonnes of anxiety, stress and need to clone myself. (I did enjoy this job in the beginning, I did...but now...)

It actually probably is work stress. The bosses are back tomorrow. I'm sure I'm gonna get it for requesting off two weeks. There's a bunch of BS with some pending litigation that their dearest daughter has been working on that is going to get thrown to me, but dearest daughter isn't getting ANY info to me at all. A bunch of my accounts stuff is backlogged from bossman being gone for...well, a lot. He did a fishing trip, came back for two days, had covid so was gone the rest of that week while bosslady kept coming in, and then they went to go to their dear daughter's place...keep spreading that plague bosses...

No idea what bosslady's going to be like when she gets back since we have some ap due soon, this litigation settlement to be sorted, payroll, quarterly taxes, etc etc. So she's going to come in like a hurricane and dog help anyone trying to do their normal routine stuff....ie payroll. (luckily provided the supes leaves me alone tomorrow am when I come in early, I SHOULD be able to get that entered before she eventually strolls in)

I'm sure I'm gonna get it too since I brought Goose in the one day so other admin might feel a bit better if I was there too and we had Goose the Big Bad Deterrent (oh yeah. SO fierce. The UPS guy just loved on him so much lol) so I'm sure her reactive dog will be QUITE upset. He's sweet with me but he's a little...unstable? I feel like he needs to be put in a hardcore board and train situation and have his issues worked out but nope. Even though they can easily afford such a thing...they insist on taking him in to the office with them EVERY DAY....don't get me started on how the carpet in our photocopy room looks like HADES since she gives him a peanut butter stuffed bone every day...so between dog pee (between boss son's pup, their pup when he was learning, and their dearest daughter's dog who excitement/submissive pees...) and the peanut butter oil....yeah the carpet is wrecked. Not my circus not my monkeys, but it's just painful on morale to be working in a place that looks like crap)

I would not be able to do it myself.
You can talk to the dogs in your mind. Just tell them stars body was wore out. To help her pass through the veil you took her to the vet. She will live on in your hearts and you will be with her again when you pass through the veil.

I conjunction with the pie I also made some cookies.
I also decided to try some black raspberry cookies. The base is chocolate chip cookie dough. I added some black raspberry pie filling to the cookie dough along with semi sweet chocolate chips. The dark cookies are black raspberry and the purplish ones are black raspberry w/ lemon juice added. The blonde cookies are regular chocolate chip cookies.View attachment 3184281

well my back is no better and my heart is still heavy. I must have done something while bathing Star. I cant stand except for a few mins. I did manage to get the hair out of the shower myself. Thats half the battle to a clean shower. Im a little ripe. I have been watching dumb movies mostly today. Look whos talking, Kindergarten cop. $105. for dish and this is what I get.
